L.A.X. is now offering valet parking.

Starting on March 10th 2006, L.A.X. is joining other regional airports and is offering valet parking.

Valet will charge you $10 per hour, with a maximum of $38 a day. Compared to self- parking lots, which cost $3 for the first hours and $2 for each subsequent hour, with a daily maximum of $30.

If you have a hybrid vehicle, you will get a discount at the valet lot, paying just $30 a day for the valet service.

There is a 70-space valet lot, located on the lower level across from Terminal 4, near the Delta and American Airlines Terminal. Passengers can leave their cars at the valet lot for up to 30 days. Airport officials say that the program will continue through the peak summer travel months and if the pilot program is successful, valet parking will be expanded to other locations around the airport.

Valet service is also available at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank and John Wayne Airport in Orange County.

Interesting enough, in a city like los Angeles you would expect to find a lot of creative and competent people, which there are many, but as well, there are as many incompetent people, claiming to be a professional in their area, but it turns out, they are not, and most likely you find out after you paid them a deposit to start on things, which is where the word "losses" come from. I noticed that there are barely any good and dependable web designers in Los Angeles , creative ones or even someone who is somewhat professional or seems to be able to put things together for you, without telling him every step of the way.

I have been reading up on craigslist.com and other channels, where creative work is advertised, but wasn't even able to find a decent portfolio, or even more pathetic, there are webdesigners that literally have no portfolios, but offering "the best web design at lowest prices"! So I am wondering, how is someone like that even able to exist without having basics to demo their professional work? I guess they do not and I keep on hearing about bad experiences with web builders, sounds like a risky business.
I came across this one guy who is amazing, the only one I could even find and he is fast, extremely creative, inventive and very professional to the point where I was almost in disbelieve. He built a website for me and just gave me all the options and the entire run-down on things, he is great. You should check him out, his very cool website is located at OPWLAB.COM.
